Situation

The Angler’s Retreat is situated in the central area of Ardmore, South Uist. The property lies just away from the A865 which is the main route through the Uist chain of islands. South Uist is a relatively large island and lies between Barra and Benbecula, the east side of South Uist is mountainous whilst west side is characterised by some excellent beaches. Lochboisdale provides a ferry route to the mainland whilst Lochmaddy serves a similar purpose for North Uist. The most direct route to The Anglers Retreat is via daily flights from the mainland either directly from Glasgow or via Stornoway.
