Land with planning for sale llanberis

A spacious development opportunity with the benefit of full detailed planning permission (Ref.C15/0460/15/ll) for the erection of a new dwelling in the form of a beautifully designed 3 bedroom dormer bungalow. The land is relatively level with stunning outlook towards the village, lake and surrounding hills with ample parking and garden area, as detailed on plans. This is a rare opportunity in the much sought after village of Llanberis, close to the foot of Snowdon.

It is situated in a quiet location within this thriving village close to all local amenities.

All pre-commencement planning conditions have yet to be discharged, and therefore it is the responsibility of the buyer to meet these conditions.

Our client is seeking sensible offers only.

Where to start? Llanberis is packed with enough attractions to keep visitors busy for weeks. But first, there's the lakeside location at the foot of Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085 metres). When you're tired of walking beside the water - which you won't be - take a ride on two narrow-gauge lines, the Llanberis Lake Railway and Snowdon Mountain Railway. The latter climbs almost to the doorstep of the stunning Hafod Eryri Visitor Centre.

Lots to see and do in lakeside Padarn Country Park. The National Slate Museum recalls Snowdonia's rich industrial heritage, Electric Mountain invites you into its awesome high-tech underground world, while Dolbadarn Castle takes you back a thousand years to the time of the native Welsh princes. If that isn't enough there are craft shops and watersports too, though most outdoor fans come for the walking. As well as the mountain paths, follow the self-guided Llanberis Heritage Trails taking you to fascinating places around the village.

New Llanberis sculpture celebrates Gwynedd's heritage

Pupils from Ysgol Dolbadarn in Llanberis were amongst those who took part in the unveiling of a new sculpture on the shore of Llyn Padarn that aims to celebrate the rich history and heritage of the area. The 20 foot steel sword sculpture aims to raise awareness of the history of the Princes of Gwynedd and their contribution to the area's Welsh heritage. As part of the project, the Council asked for suggestions for names for the sword sculpture from the public which were then carefully considered by pupils from nearby Ysgol Dolbadarn. Their choice was Llafn y Cewri, meaning Blade of the Giants.
