Rob was working as a Business Development consultant for a large firm of financial advisors when he and his soon to be wife decided to sell their home and start a business.
They put the house on the market and within a week it was sold. This gave them a bit of money to help set up in business. So Rob set up as an independent mortgage advisor with Sue working on the admin side.
Within a week of moving home, they set up the business and also had a fantastic wedding in Rob’s parents garden.
They decided to open a high street estate agency to run alongside their business and before long Rob, Sue and their kids were walking the streets delivering as many leaflets as possible to start the business. Things were going well so another office was opened….
Soon it became apparent to Rob that this market was changing. He and the staff were tied to the office waiting for customers to come in but the customers didn’t come. They were either searching for property on the internet or out viewing properties. So Rob decided drastic action was needed.
He didn’t want to become one of the many faceless online estate agents and knew there was a better way. A GOOD way of doing things that combined both the power of the internet and the best bits of traditional estate agency.
The Good Estate Agent was born and Rob set out on a mission to recruit top-quality agents across the country to represent what’s good about estate agency and personal service.
Others soon caught on to the idea but none of them will ever be The Good Estate Agent.
Today there are over 50 GOOD estate agents across the country and growing fast.
