It has been announced by Hammerson and Standard Life Investments that Vans will be occupying a new 2140 sqft retail unit at London’s Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
Vans is an international skateboard shoe brand established in 1966 and it bases its headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, USA. The company is currently owned by VF Corporation who own several other sports fashion brands including Timberland, Eastpak and Reef.
Vans is also well known for sponsoring Vans Warped Tour, one of the biggest punk rock music festivals in the USA, which first took place in 1995.
Brent Cross, one of the major retail complex in London, was established in 1976. Since the opening, it has become a highly popular retail destination, attracting a large of shoppers across London and the UK every year.
Vans will be joined by the shopping centre’s existing line-up that consists of some of the largest international brands including Apple, Cath Kidston, H&M, Hugo Boss, Levi’s, Miss Selfridge, The North Face, Timberland, Topshop and Zara.
